HOW TO USE A BORE DIAL GAUGE TO MEASURE CYLINDER

Описание к видео HOW TO USE A BORE DIAL GAUGE TO MEASURE CYLINDER

In this quick video I explain how to use a bore dial gauge to measure cylinder bore diameter of any engine. In this particular example we are measuring a Chevy 5.3 engine. I will show you how we measure each cylinder for taper, out of round and oversize. These factors will dictate whether or not we need to send this engine block to the machine shop to get oversized or bored over. Doing so will require the use of oversize pistons and oversized piston rings.
