Surviving Dispersed Camping at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats - Day 104

Today is a Motorcycle camping day and happier I could not be. We try and finish an All American Slam at Dennys in Ely Nevada before heading off towards the Bonneville Salt Flats for some adventure riding on the salt flats. Wet conditions force us up to pick out a dispersed camping site adjacent the Bonneville Salt Flats. The dangers of dispersed camping in the hot sun with limited shade and extreme heat become immediately clear. The elements with dispersed camping can have terrible consequences and the Bonneville Salt Flats are up there for providing the dangerous conditions that can turn a fun time into a bad camping fail.

The dispersed campsite we found was in the hot sun all day so we too shelter and had some beers waiting for the Bonneville Salt Flats to cool down. We get some great shots with the DJI Mavic Mini 3 Pro Drone of the amazing landscape. Camp cooking gets underway as the shadown get long and a teriyaki chicken with veggies is on the camp grill asap. It's a little tricky cooking with no oil, but we make it work.
