Hello Everyone! I am so excited to present this film to you all! “TICKET” is a film written by Annamaria Haasbroek, one of my classmates in The Animation Course program taught by Chad Stewart.

The story revolves around John (Jalen Pierce), a young man on his way to propose to his fiancée. The only problem is, his train leaves in just 5 minutes--and the old-fashioned ticket machine (Deck Harper) refuses to let him pass with the fancy new e-ticket on his phone! Will he be able to find a way to make it onto the train in time?

This film is the result of Level 5, an experimental 5th full-semester class created by Mr. Stewart for students who had completed all 4 standard Levels of The Animation Course. Some of the 4-semester veteran students besides myself who worked on this film include Sophia Dudney of Belle-Skies, Thomas Pohler of SolarBear Studios, and Deck Harper, known for his hilarious ‘Guy Miracle’ videos, one of which was posted on The Animation Course’s YouTube channel—along with several other very talented animation students. “TICKET” was our first group project, and we all had a great time working as a team and making a film for everyone to enjoy!
