Finally someone has done it. Welcome to 2015, where Mpow has finally solved the age old riddle of how to put out an economical set of Bluetooth headphones that not only sound great but stay in your ears. You hear that, that is the sound of my silent applause for Mpow's team of dedicated professionals.

Let me also get this out of the way. I was provided a sample for review purposes by Mpow. I say what I want to say though, the good, the bad and sometimes the ugly. Take it for what you will but I need to disclose this to the loyal Amazon review community.

Now, let me get into the headphones:

THE GOOD
-Lots of different size earbuds are provided both for the parts that go in your ear and for the parts that help to secure it into your ear so it doesn't fall out. Experiment with this folks, it may take some time but you need to get this fit as good as you can as your sole enjoyment or hatred of these headphones will depend on how well you get the fit. I cannot overemphasize this enough.

-Once you get the fit, the bass will sound good and they will actually stay in your ears while you are jogging and sweating. Unbelievable I know but I tried it myself. I move my head a lot when I jog and I sweat a lot - and I was happy with their performance. Just shove them in, get them situated just right and don't touch them.

-Very easy to use the buttons on these to turn the volume up and down or to go forward or back with track selection

-Impressive sound quality and bass

-Relatively inexpensive for what they do and how they sound

TWEAKS/HACKS -
Cord sticks to my neck when placed behind my head. When I turn my head, the cord pulled on the earbuds and pulled them out/loose. The tweak/hack for this was to just let the cord lay in front of my neck instead of behind it. No problems with the cord in front.
When you put the headphones in and run with the cord in front of you it bumps around and into things. This causes a "stethoscope effect" for lack of a better word with the headphones. You hear everything and it gets magnified. My tweak/hack for this was just to tuck the cord into my shirt neck opening. This secured the cord thus stopping the sound transmission into my ears by all of the bumping around.

If Mpow could make these headphones with no cord they would be better. I don't know how they would do it but I am sure it is possible. It would be great to finally go jogging with no cords - not even one between the earbuds.

I did get some crackling when my iPod nano was in my pants pocket. It was more noticeable at first but even faded away to less and less. It wasn't a deal breaker - I also had a media pocket in my vest next to my shoulder that I put my Nano in and this really cleared up any crackling problems. I wish they could build a playback buffer into the music stream as that would really help and allow you to place your music player really anywhere.

So, that is my take on these headphones. I didn't want to call my tweaks/hacks the bad because they are things that you would probably run into with any set of cord connected Bluetooth headphones. I told the manufacturer I was curious to test these out and am glad that I did. Let's face it, you just want to get the right fit, put these in, have them be comfortable, bob your head up and down for hours, profusely sweat and have these things stay in, sound great and be comfortable. You also don't want to pay a small fortune for them either.
