Bengal BJP Denied Permission To Hold Ganga Aarti | BJP Vs TMC

BREAKING NEWS: The Kolkata Police on Monday denied permission to the Bengal BJP to conduct Ganga Aarti on Tuesday on the occasion of Gangasagar mela starting in West Bengal this week.

Kolkata Police stated that the BJP's programme will cause traffic congestion due to already heavy movement of vehicular traffic and pilgrims arriving for the mela in the area.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee is scheduled to inaugurate the Gangasagar Mela tomorrow around the same time as the BJP was scheduled to hold Ganga Aarti near the Gangasagar Mela venue in Babughat in Kolkata.
