Un DJ LIVE SET di Claudio “Cavallo“ Giagnotti dei Mascarimirì, dove la musica salentina cambia il suo cammino. Dalla musica per le feste tradizionali, la quale attraverso il dj set passa verso i club del electro world e gli eventi molto più innovativi, utilizzando il dance hall e il Sound System come il linguaggio per ballare. E cosi il cerchio simbolico creato dalla tradizionale ronda del Tamburreddhu Salentino (tamburo a cornice salentino) si collega in un rituale moderno con il cerchio del vinile e del CD.
Claudio "Cavallo" Giagnotti, musicista-produttore salentino di origini Rom e co-fondatore di Dilinò - Centro di musica alternativa e del Mediterraneo e ARRA Produzioni Mediterranne, direttore artistico Festa Arrrabbiata and Balkaniko Party, è un artista che dai primi anni '90 ha cambiato il suono di Pizzica Pizzica Salentina remixandola e innovandola, creando un ritmo innovativo per ballare, chiamato "Tradinnovazione".
Questo lavoro è stato apprezzato già negli anni '90, quando i suoi remix sono stati inclusi nel primo CD "Taranta Trance" prodotto con il collettivo Alpha Bass, proseguendo con le collaborazioni ai progetti Tecno Pizzica, diretti da Piero Fumarola e George Lapassad, Taranta Virus e Giro di Banda diretto da Cesare Dell'Anna, fino alla pubblicazione con i Mascarimiri di due album: "Triciu Remix" e "Pizzica in the Dance Hall Party" - omaggio ai grandi ricercatori, che sono venuti in Salento, da Alan Lomax a Diego Carpitella, concludendo con le recenti collaborazioni con amici storici come Dj Click (dj e produttore parigino) e Papet J dei
Massilia Sound System (Marsiglia | FR).
Il progetto Etno World Sound System è un mondo di suoni che si incontrano in un unico set, che Cavallo crea sullo scambio tra la musica del sud Italia e quelle del Mediterraneo e non solo: dai Balcani al Sud America (Cumbia, Forrò, Calypso), dal Medio Oriente al sud della Francia e della Spagna finendo in mondo Gitanistan della “musica Rom Internazionale”, sempre con un'anima salentina.
Tutto questo racchiuso in un DJ LIVE set per far ballare le persone e continuare un rituale di danza ancestrale che solo i ritmi della musica tradizionale conservano.

The Etno World Sound System project is a world of sounds that meets in one set, that Cavallo creates on exchange between the music of southern Italy with those of the Mediterranean area and beyond: from Balkan to South America (Cumbia, Forrò, Calypso), from the Middle East to the south of France and Spain finishing in gypsy vibe, always with a Salento soul.
All this enclosed in a live DJ set to make people dance and to continue an ancestral dance ritual that only the rhythms of traditional music retain.
