Ingredients

Chana -1cup
Water-21/1cup
Salt-
Onion-1
Potato-1/2 of 1
Tomato-2small
Fennel seeds-1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds-1/4 tsp
Chilli Powder-1/2tsp
Coriander Powder-1/2tsp
Turmeric Powder-1/4tsp
Garam Masala -1/2tsp
Coriander leaves
Oil-2tbsp

For grinding

Coconut-4tbsp
Ginger-small piece
Garlic-1
Green chilli-1
Cashew nuts -10
Cloves-2
Cinnamon-small piece
Cardamom -1
Coriander leaves -1-2

Method

Soak chana for 3-4 hours or overnight.T hen wash and drain, keep aside.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add onion along with salt and saute for few minutes.
Then add all powders and saute till raw smell goes.
Now add tomatoes and cook ..
To that add potato and chana mix well ..
Add water and cook for 3 whistles in medium flame or till done.
Open the cooker after complete pressure goes.
Now grind all ingredients mentioned under grinding to a very fine paste.
Add this ground paste to the cooked chana and mix well..
add more water and mix .. Boil and cook for another 5 minutes in high flame ..
check the taste and adjust the taste.
Finally, add chopped coriander leaves and serve ..
