Oyster Harvesting in Miyagi Prefecture

Last week we hopped over to the neighboring prefecture of Miyagi to try some of their famous Miyagi Oysters.

The locals here offer a special experience where you can join a fisherman out into the bay where you can get an up-close look at how they grow the oysters here and even shuck open oysters and enjoy them on the ocean!

These are the absolute freshest Miyagi Oysters you can possibly have and eating them straight from the ocean is a taste that you truly cannot forget.

This experience is about 10,000 per person.
This includes the private fisherman guide, chartered boat, and delicious oysters out on the water.
