This is my new Hammockgear Burrow 20f which is a 900 fp Hungarian goose down. It has a standard fill weight of 12 oz and weighs 21.1 oz. I have, however, adapted and asked Adam and Jen at Hammock gear to customise. I have asked for a 3oz overfill of 900 fp down in the quilt (Can have up to 4 oz). And I have opted for a custom shell. This was ordered via Hammockgear from thru-hiker.com. The fabric is considerably lighter than pertex quantum and is comparable to Phd's MX fabric. It certainly gossamer and incredibly resilient to all that 900fp down.
You can further customise your quilt and make it more sleeping bag config if you so wish. My primary goal was to move away from the 'mummy bag' since I don't sleep on my back and additionally, find them too constricting and have never had a particular decent nights sleep in one. This is certainly a project and I hope it works. As it stands, looks very promising.
The additional specs to customise, were: wide option. Snap closed foot box with drawstring. Straight/standard taper.

I have ordered this for spring to Autumn with, maybe a bit of winter mixed in. But it is a -7 quilt and the guys define this as 'conservative' measure. Their reviews do suggest that they are conservative and possibly go lower. I have, for the uk, opted for 3oz overfill just to help things along. And trying to cover bases but to keep a ultralight ethos on the sleep system.
There are no baffles or hoods. You simply tuck in or use the 'eyelets' attached to you mat to ensure closure of gaps. The hood I'm not sure about. I have never been a fan of hoods. I find them constricting and many a time woke up with my face in the hood; panicking.
I will, however, be using my down hat and balaclava to ensure warmth is maintained.
