OEX Jackal II Tent Review - The BEST Budget Two Person Tent?

Here is my OEX Jackal 2 tent review. This is a 4 season tent to be used as a 2 person tent throughout the year. This is a classic two pole tunnel tent perfect for wild camping. It weighs 2.95kg which isn't too heavy and can still be used as a backpacking tent, especially because the tent uses two waterproof bags so you can share the camping tent between the two of you.

This two person tent retails for £180. However, knowing Go Outdoors it can often be found in their camping gear sales and I picked it up for just £80.

At 225cm long x 165mm wide x 115cm tall, it is a very spacious tent, much larger than most 2 person tents. The additional 100cm porch area is a very welcome addition, especially when the weather takes a turn for the worse.

Despite being a budget tent, this is fire-retardant, waterproof and breathable.
