First off, there are many reasons the ball might not be spinning. Your guide hand might be cancelling out the spin created by the shooting hand.

But in this video we are showing how getting the weight of the ball into your palm can impact the spin.

Try to get the weight of the ball back in your fingers. Your fingers will be moving a greater distance as your wrist snaps and that distance will increase the spin.

Now, the ball can be lightly resting on your palm slightly, but you should feel the weight of the ball more in your fingers. If you don't, try to sit the ball back in your hand a little more.
