Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditynatah unveiled a statue of 9th century king Samrat Mihira Bhoja in Noida’s Dadri today, which is being seen as a political move eyeing the votes of the Pratihaar community in the state. However, the king is seen as an icon of the Gurjar community, which is considered the second most influential caste in the state after Jats. But the Rajputs have been claiming that the king was from their community and not a Gurjar.
