Founding of Rome - History of Rome #1

The first video in a series covering the history of ancient Rome. From the founding of the city to the fall of the Western Roman Empire.

We follow the story of the Trojan refugees, that eventually settle in Latium. From these refugees came twin brothers, Romulus and Remus. After killing his brother, Romulus took control of the new city that bears his name, Rome. Through these early legends, that toe the line between fact and fiction, we follow the establishment of the army and the early social structure that would go on to dominate the politics of the early Republic.
