Is Microsoft 365 Email Security Good Enough to Prevent a Cyber Attack?

Is Defender for Office 365 enough? Or should we be using a product like Mimecast, Sophos, Proofpoint, or Ironscales?

Email security is an important part of your cyber security defenses. But is using a Microsoft email security product enough or should you be looking at 3rd party tools? Well, that is the topic for today's video.

Now, with every Microsoft 365 mailbox, you get some level of protection with a product called Exchange Online Protection. For me, this is basic protection. I don’t think that is enough to protect your business. We need to look at some advanced email security.

There are lots of companies that provide advanced email security.
Mimecast, Proofpoint, Ironscales, Mesh Security, Hornet Security, Barracuda, Sophos, and even Microsoft have their own advanced email security product called Defender for 365.
