Qlik Direct Query | Ometis Webinar

Alex Walker, Operations Director at Ometis, takes us through Qlik Direct Query, an additional data connection that can be used to directly access cloud databases using SQL.

Direct Query Connections used within a Qlik Sense app, generate SQL against the source cloud database as the user interacts with visualisations and filters. This new capability supports additional use cases for large data sets and near real-time scenarios and offers flexibility to manage compute costs by creating hybrid data analytics solutions. It is currently available for Snowflake with Databricks coming soon and other connections in development.
