Short on the positive side terminal. Not a ground fault problem. Dual terminal battery side and top mount. Positive side terminal was bad. Had the side mount break off before on my 2002 Chevy Astro van and leaked acid. Drove fine the day before and in the morning thought maybe I left the dome light on but that wasn't it.. hope this helps out.
