Robert Goddard - the American Pioneer of Rocketry

Robert H. Goddard, an American scientist and engineer, is famous for creating the world's first liquid – fueled rocket, as well as implementing three – axis control to rocketry. Goddard's work as a scientist and engineer ushered forward the space age, and Goddard's inventions set many important milestones for spaceflight. Years after his death, Goddard was recognized as the founding father of modern rocketry, due to his scientific approach to studying and constructing multi – purpose rockets.
