G:link's Bombardier Flexity 2 trams are the main (and only) type of trams on Queensland's first tram system of the 21st century. There are a total of 23 trams: fourteen were introduced in 2014 when the system started, four more joined in 2017 for an extension for Gold Coast University Hospital to Helensvale, and five more for the (under construction) Burleigh Heads extension.
