When media outlets were predicting that the cap purgatory following Russell Wilson's dead cap hit would set the franchise back 10 years, Sean Payton just smiled. We took the brunt of the cap hit this year and have the answer at QB locked in at a laughable $5 million per year! The forecast has gone from monsoony to sunny real quick! The Detroit Lions are paying over $50 million per year for quarterback play with a lower ceiling than Bo Nix's. Sean Payton knew what he was doing, and I'm excited about it! We know a bit more about who the Denver Broncos WON'T be playing week 1, as the Chiefs, Browns, and Ravens all have scheduled games with other opponents.
