Chopin Piano Concerto No. 2 in F Minor - Hofmann (Score)

Josef Hofmann, the best Chopin interpreter, unleashes a performance just as good his the first concerto. A piece so Chopinistic, a combination of fury virtuosity and calm phrases and here executed wonderfully. A notably part is 14:22 and 27:30. The slower parts are suplime and the faster parts he brings out the dramatic/exciting parts. Also, the Orchestrated work truly understands him as pianist and I think the parts that were skipped: at (1:22, 11:43, and 23:24), build better phrases and wrap up the music more efficiently. The orchestra is outstanding. However, I do not know what date or location of this recording took place.
