Ukrainian troops clear out Russian soldiers near Bakhmut

Ukrainian troops cleared the rubble of Andriivka of Russian soldiers. The village, south of Bakhmut, was recently captured by Ukraine. And soldiers of the 3rd Assault Brigade leading the charge. Video captured by the brigade shows the village is now destroyed. Troops pick their way through the rubble of destroyed buildings. Using a heavy machine-gun to flush any remaining Russians out. The village holds little value in itself, but has cost Putin dearly. Ukraine claimed to have destroyed the Russian 72nd Brigade here. And in the nearby village of Klishchiivka, took out two paratrooper brigades. Taking the villages makes Bakhmut itself more vulnerable to attack. And keeps Putin’s best troops away from the southern frontline.
