Magic Mark got fired from HOPE Wrestling when the dastardly Liam Morley wrenched the company out of the hands of Mark's close friend Harvey Dale. Mark had been there since the very first show: a HOPE Original if you will.

Another HOPE Original was Ligero, The Leeds Luchador. Ligero had shown his true colours when, after years of never quite managing to gain gold in HOPE Wrestling, he cheated to win the King of Flights Title. He'd also previously taken out his frustrations on Mark by, completely unprovoked, kicking him out of his chair on the commentary table.

The dastardly Ligero went to Liam Morley and asked him to reinstate Mark in HOPE Wrestling, but as the Leeds Luchador's manager and personal ring announcer. With this as the only option presented to him to rejoin HOPE, Mark reluctantly agreed to accept this role.

Ligero spent months antagonising Mark, making him do humiliating tasks, using him as a human shield, and more. The HOPE Army were desperate to see Mark stand up to him, but every show, Mark refused to stand up to Ligero as he wanted to keep his job.

Until he snapped.

Ligero pushed and slapped Mark in the middle of the ring, and in response, Mark superkicked the taste out of his mouth!

The fans went wild, but Ligero was enraged! He went to Liam Morley and demanded a match against Mark. Mark had stood up to Ligero, but now he had to wrestle him!

Training with some of Britain's best trainers and wrestlers, could Mark do the impossible? Could Mark beat Ligero in a wrestling match?
