Sameer Wankhede files complaint against RTI activist at Amboli police station. Deets inside

Sameer Wankhede, former zonal director of Narcotics Control Bureau, filed a police complaint against journalist and RTI activist Ketan Tirodkar at Amboli police station. Wankhede accused Ketan of disseminating false and defamatory interviews in connection with 2021 drugs on cruse case involving Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan. Going by the complaint, Sameer said that a news video under the caption Cordellia Cruise Case was published and uploaded by Ketan Tirodkar on regional news channels, YouTube channel and other media without verifying facts. Sameer Wankhede has given a letter to the police stating that a video uploaded by Ketan Tirodkar on the Cordelia cruise case is defamatory and lacked truth. He also stated that giving out such videos amounts to interference in the process of imparting justice and such hindrance is punishable. It also caused him mental harassment and Sameer requested urgent intervention in the matter. Every day a new development has been coming to light in the two year old drugs on cruise case where Aryan Khan got clean chit. To give some background, CBI has been investigating a case of corruption and extortion against Wankhede, Ashish, Gosavi and two others for allegedly collecting Rs 50 lakh of the total demand of Rs 25 crore from SRK.
