The Celtic Bard talks about the battle of Kinsale 1601, where the Irish Clans and their allies, the Spanish were defeated by the forces of the Crown. This epic battle hearlded the loss of our Irish-Celtic Tribal socities due to colonisation of Ireland in the sixtheenth centurary. The Chieftans, O Nieo and O Donnel sailed to Spain from Donegal town in 1604, to gain support, however they never returned and so ended the fight for freedom of the Irish Clann system which was governed under Brehan law.
Modern tribal socities are loosing their ancestral land due to modern colonalism, fueled by globalisation. The destruction of nature is unprecedented as a result of corporate greed and environmenal destruction.
