The Sindh government has reduced the duration of SSC and HSSC examinations from three hours to two hours for the academic year 2020-21. Addressing a conference on Tuesday, provincial education minister Saeed Ghani announced that the duration of examinations had been reduced due to the epidemic and the pattern of examinations had been adjusted accordingly. He said that 50 percent of the question papers would be based on multiple choice questions (MCQs) while the rest would be thematic questions, 30 percent long questions and 20 percent short questions. The Federal Minister also announced the latest timetable for the examinations, noting that the SSC examinations would be held between July 1 and July 15, while the Intermediate examinations would be held between July 28 and August 16.
