Our family upgraded from the Wii to the Wii U but we wanted to keep all our data, songs, points, etc. The Wii U- http://epicreviewguys.com/Wii-U is a major upgrade from the original Wii gaming system, even if it isn't as fast or powerful as the Xbox One or PS4. It turned out to be a bit of a chore to move everything over from the original Wii to the new Wii U. And if the two hours it can take isn't enough you only get one shot at the transfer- the data is erased off your old Wii and even the SD card used for the transfer gets wiped. So if you attempt this get it right the first time!
