Getting Queen's Brian May's Sound Part 1 - Red Special Guitars

Brian May from Queen has one of the most sought after guitar tones. In this series I'll show different ways you can recreate this regal tone starting with a look at the guitar. On its own, a red special guitar won't sound much like Brian May but it's a strong start.

If you're starting on this tone quest, leaving budget for the rest of the signal chain is key but there are now multiple entry points to getting the guitar right.
