My Transition Story - Happy Transgender Awareness Week

G'day Fellow Escapists!

In honour of transgender awareness week I thought I would release my story. I also talk very briefly about the books that helped to validate me later in my medical transition. These were actually my first book reviews on the platform (not on this channel).

A couple of content warnings. Gender dysphoria, biological body parts, suicidal ideation, self harm, depression and substance abuse. Please make sure you're in a safe place mentally before watching.

I forgot to mention in the video the one time I have faced some backlash in terms of transitioning. When I came out at work, I was told I was not allowed to use the male bathrooms and had to use the female due to someone's religious beliefs. This has since been rectified and I can use the mens.
