Kentucky Life host Doug Flynn joins Bruce Ashford, owner of Central Kentucky Tours, at historic Beaumont Inn in Harrodsburg to get the tour underway. The Barrel to Bottle Tour takes groups on a trip through the Central Kentucky countryside to visit the Kentucky Cooperage in Lebanon, where the barrels for bourbon are made. The tour also includes stops at Maker’s Mark in Loretto, Lebanon’s Limestone Branch Distillery and Danville’s Wilderness Trail Distillery in Danville, where Flynn explores the science behind the sip.
