This palace has a theater, a wine cellar, and a pole dance club. Putin reportedly spends at least $2 million yearly on a team of 40 gardeners and landscapers.
By publishing nearly 500 images and a video of "Putin's Country Cottage," Alexei Navalny's Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK) revealed that the residence they have dubbed "Putin's Palace" includes a sizable marble swimming pool adorned with busts of Greek gods, a hookah lounge with a pole for dancing, a casino, wine cellar, theater, and other gaudily designed amenities reminiscent of Louis XIV's. The Russian state symbol, the double-headed eagle, was used to embellish the 11-bedroom estate, as shown in photos. Numerous helicopter landing pads, an unfinished amphitheater, formal gardens, an arboretum, security quarters, a vineyard, an underground hockey rink, a church, and a sculpture garden are found outside. A tour of the palace's first floor shows off a music room, a gym, and a dining room with $500,000 worth of Pozzoli, Italian luxury furnishings, and a $54,000 bar table. There are six bedrooms, each furnished with opulent Italian accents. A barroom leading to a lavish auditorium with two stories of height is filled with more than $100,000 worth of wine and spirits.
This is just one of the houses the Russian president owns. According to reliable sources, Putin bought himself a luxurious home in 2017, a few kilometers from Russia's western border, with gold-plated tiles in the swimming pool.
