These snails have a number of traits that make launch teams cringe. They're ranged resistant, necessitating an enchanter. Their orb demands HP regen, which the team doesn't naturally carry outside of a Porom sphere on Krile/Ramza. Most infuriatingly, they effectively apply Reno's Numb debuff to the party at 79%. This calls for creating as much space as possible if you're going to launch, as the constant delays will soon render lining up decent launches impossible.

While Krile would probably be a better fit here with a Porom sphere to counter the orb, I wanted to try Celes. She enchants, she regens, and her traps end up saving my bacon once the snails catch up to us. The fight gets quite bogged down by the end, but happily Celes is more than capable of finishing the job Cloud and Keiss start.
