The Federación Colombiana de Fútbol (FCF) 2018 World Cup kit has been released today. Made by Adidas, The Colombia 2018 home jersey introduces a bold look that is heavily inspired by the iconic 1990 kit.
Predominantly yellow, the Colombia 2018 World Cup jersey features three eye-catching stripes along the sides of the chest, more or less directly 'copied' from the 1990 design. These stripes are colored red-blue-red, as on the original, but a pattern of thin navy stripes was added by Adidas to shake it up a bit. Things are more different from here on. Unlike the 1990 shirt, which heavily uses red for accents, the Colombia World Cup 2018 home kit sees navy used for the 3 Stripes, placed on the shoulders, and collar trim. The sleeves of the Colombia 2018 shirt are solid yellow. The 2018 World Cup will feature the first-ever Adidas football shirts with Climachill technology, and of course the Colombia home jersey (at least the authentic version) is one of those. Blue shorts and red socks complete the Colombia 2018 kit.
