Behind The Lyrics:
Good To Have You Home was written in 2006. I was living in North Hollywood, California with a very special woman I now call my second mom. I met her singing in the alto section of our church choir. During a rough season in my life this woman opened her home up to me. The lyrics in this song were inspired by stories from her life and things she would say to me as if I were her child. She always encouraged me to chase my dreams, to believe in myself, and to remember that Jesus loved me. I love you MA!
