Save The Last Dance For Me ..... Ukulele Tutorial

Hi gang...back again ....this week with a classic song made famous by The Drifters. It's a great one for those new and old to the Uke as it only has 4 basic chords and a simple strumming pattern. I suggest D-DUDUDU with the second down strum being " rolled " to give a Calypso feel to the song but do feel free to "sense" the rhythm and do your own thing to it...it's a wonderful song so do have fun.
The link to a free song sheet download is below...I'd love to think you printed it off and joined in with me. Learn the song firstly without any metronome then,once comfortable with the song structure and chord changes, do then practice with your metronome to prevent speeding up or slowing down during the song.....it might seem difficult at first to stay steady with the metronome but it becomes easier with regular practice....Anyways...hope this one puts a smile on your face and thanks again to all those new and old that follow the channel by subscribing to it...please feel free to share this and help spread the Uke love with others.
