Bowie in Berlin

David Bowie left the United States in 1976 and moved to Berlin. Over the next three years, he would release some of the most creative and inflential records of his career: Low, Heroes and Lodger.

In this Berlin vlog, I visit some of the places that Bowie frequented during his time in the German capital, including his home, the studio where he recorded Low and Heroes, and his favourite bars.

After 18 months of a life on pause, thanks to the sodding corona virus, and endless hours on Google Maps checking out all the places I want to visit, the time has finally arrived to begin my travels in Europe.

Starting in Berlin, I plan to travel east as far as Georgia and taking in pretty much all of the countries in between.
