Are Administrative Agencies Inherently Political? [No. 86]

Описание к видео Are Administrative Agencies Inherently Political? [No. 86]

All administrative agencies have a particular mission. How the mission is enacted or perceived can be politically motivated. Professor David Bernstein argues that the staffers at these agencies may not be political but they do necessarily subscribe to the mission of the agency. Agency staff are more concerned with advancing the policies of the agency than they are about Constitutional considerations.

David Bernstein is a University Professor and the Executive Director of the Liberty & Law Center at the Antonin Scalia Law School.

As always, the Federalist Society takes no position on particular legal or public policy issues; all expressions of opinion are those of the speaker.
