Hello, my name is Jeff Dyer, and I’m with RHE Hat-Co, manufacturer of Stetson and Dobbs hats, and today I'm at Fashionable Hats in Largo, Florida. And we're talking about straw hats over $100. So I have five hats here and different styles and some with different materials.


And I’m going to start off with the Colonel - nice telescope crown, flat brim with a pencil curl, made out of shantung straw. It’s a classic style - lots of shape.
Run off to Modern. Modern is a genuine Panama down brim style adventure hat. Bodies are handwoven in Ecuador and then finished in our factories here in America.


And something you haven't seen possibly a lot. This hat is the Inwood and this material is hemp, natural hemp woven. We make these bodies ourselves in our factory where they’re sewn together. This is a more European style of straw hat for in the past. It can stand up to the weather better than the Panama hat. Definitely a sun hat. These are all sun hats. But if of these three this would definitely stand up to the weather, the best.


And the Santa Monica. Santa Monica contrasting band large brim. So this is actually one of my favorite hats. I've worn this hat for many years now. In fact, I think I need a new one pretty soon - wonderful hat.


And for your Western folks, we have the Grant T. Nice cattlemen's crease, large brim and vents or eyelets on the side to give you extra ventilation. This is a hat that you can wear out on the range, to the rodeo, or just going downtown.
