The Weapon

This lever action precision-rifle is of unkown origins. Many modifications have been made to the mechanism and barrel, with most parts being replaced by a strange alloy (glaucite) that few outside of Numeria have ever seen.

The most recent modification to the weapon, is a gold-and-mithril-alloy wrapping in the shape of a dragon with its mouth as the barrel.

Abilities

With great focus the rifle can emit a cone of gold and orange fire, with potency relative to the will and power of its current wielder.

Construction

This weapon cannot be fitted with a bayonet, but its construction is so sturdy, magically reinforced, and imbued with unknown energy that it is nearly indestructable. As such, it can be used as a quarterstaff.

Aura

The weapon radiates good, and very potent magic. When fired, a muffled roar can be heard, and a wave of terror passes over the wielder. To fire this weapon requires a DC28 Will Save vs fear, or the wielder drops it immediately and is frightened for 1 round.

Scope

Using the scope requires concentration and a steady hand. It grants +2 to hit, but causes -2 to armor class for the round.

Ammunition

The weapon fires .308 cartridges and adds a touch of fire to every bullet it sends.

Inscription

Inscribed impossibly small etching on the black-steel barrel of this weapon reads:

Beloved Rovadra,

Immortal golden scales in flight,

Rolling golden curls by night.

She soared across the field of war,

And nightly came unto my door.

Felled at last by Tyrant's word,

Just one last time her love I heard.

She gave her soul unto my steel,

So her wrath our foes could feel.
