BBB #17: Carpe Iter Controller install & review

If you haven’t already realised, we are interspersing group banter and chat with hopefully informative farkling and accessorising videos.

In this one, we try out the Carpe Iter bluetooth controller. It’s a small rechargeable device that clamps to your handlebars and enables you to control an Android smartphone without needing any wires. It is made to work with an app called Drive Mode Dashboard which provides...ummm...dashboard functionality like speed, trip, mapping etc. Soon it will be updated to include turn-by-turn navigation as well as OBD data displays (like a rev counter for example).

Can the Carpe Iter controller and a phone be a good way of getting super-bling multi function dashboard features that you normally get on a £20k bike? We reveal all.
