The truth behind Xiaomi Mi5 India Launch and Flash Sale

Amidst much fanfare, Xiaomi launched the Mi5 in India on 31st March 2015 but once again tricked the Indian fans by launching only the 32GB version at a price of 25000 INR i.e. $400, where the actual price in China is 2000 Yuan i.e. 20000 INR.

And the disappointment doesn't end there. For now, we can't even purchase the 64GB and 128GB variants of the phone. Even the choice of color is limited to "White".

Now, all i want to ask Xiaomi is this - Is it a launch or a joke? I think it is a very well played joke on us.
