Here's a silly, simple Waldorf thumb game by Wilma Ellersiek. I've used it in my morning circle, but you could also use it anytime you need to bring in the energy--like before a meal or snack or while waiting in line.
Because it just uses thumbs, you can do it with little ones who aren't quite ready for finger games. When in doubt, give it a try! They'll let you know if they're ready--or not.
