This is another video dedicated to my many viewers who've bought BaseBlocks equipment, and specifically we'll be learning how to do straight bar dips! A straight bar dip is also known as a "single bar dip" where you have your hands pronated on a single horizontal bar in front of you. This puts more emphasis on the lower pecs because you absolutely MUST lean forward for counterbalance, and it also hits the anterior delts and triceps a lot while requiring stabilization from the upper back. Those are the main straight bar dip benefits, along with the fact that this exercise is the top half of the muscle up, so make sure you train this if you want to achieve the muscle up in your calisthenics journey!

Overall, dips on a straight bar are a fantastic calisthenics exercise and one you can do on any stable, low bar. I hope you enjoy the video and find it useful!
