Another day in a life of a Rope Access NDT Technician. This time working with an overhead obstruction. Many times we see rope access tutorial and training videos but I guess not many out there of the actual jobs. During training we usually do rope access maneuver indoors and with comfortable clothing. In the actual job site we do it outdoors exposed to the elements and wearing full PPE which is not exactly comfortable. And aside from the rope access part, we still have to do the actual job while on the ropes and it is harder than it looks. That is why I try to shoot as much of these rope access + NDT work in actual work site.
