Q: Why is the long ramp only 18” wide when robots can be 20” wide?
A: 20” is the maximum width, you’ll need to have a wheel base less than 18” if you want to use the long ramp.
Q: Can a robot have more than one battery?
A: Yes, keep in mind matches will be close enough together in time that there will not be time to charge your batteries completely in between matches. You’ll need to have more than one set of batteries if you want to use more than one battery on your robot. These extra batteries must be included in your bill of materials ($300 or less total)

Q: Can we have two robots that split off?
A: Yes, but you can only have one driver, so he must control both robots.
Q: Can you remove boulders from the opponent’s moat once they have been scored?
A: No.
Q: Can boulders purposely be destroyed?
A: No, if a boulder is destroyed during a match it will be immediately replaced by a new boulder.
Q: Can you tie a match?
A: No. If all scoring is equal, game will be decided by a drag race of the two robots down the length of the battlefield (seriously).
Q: What happens if a robot breaks (unfixable):
A: Robots that cannot move will be “disabled” and taken to their workshop, the opponent will have free reign over the battlefield during this time.
Q: Are flying robots allowed?
A: Flying robots will be “out of bounds”, so no.
Q: If a flag is dropped, can it be picked back up off the ground?
A: No, dropped flags will be “dead” and will be replaced into the opponent’s base.
