Mercs O Mode: WR pace died late in 7. 29 Aug 2024

I'm pushing 40 and I've grown so much skill wise as a speedrunner in the last 3.5 years so now is the time to try to put Mercs to bed forever. With that in mind I've derusted and this is the first WR pace run to get to the late game. As soon as I've come back the game is doing its usual tricks, but I got gas manips in 6, a great jeeps boss, and I can see I've gained a bit of ringcraft in defensive movement already. I'm going to be uploading everything of note from here on out: I wish I would have done more of that in the past too, for this, Kenseiden, etc. These runs will be in a playlist that can serve as living history of the game, as well as make good dissection fodder for up and coming runners.
