Early Season GROUSE Hunting in the North Maine Woods

We're back! I found some time to edit a video and will continue to do more as I have the time. Mainely Flies continues to be my main focus for now, but I’d love to reach the point where we can hire an editor. I really enjoy filming these videos but just struggle finding the time to edit them.

Today, we're headed out for the opening day of grouse hunting here in the North Maine Woods. Early season is the most difficult time of year to hunt this species, especially without a dog. I’ll share some tips and tricks on how to narrow in on these birds when they have so much ground to cover and a variety of food sources to choose from.
