Vislon® with Lenzing FR® tape

THE lightweight zipper to consider for equipment complying with the latest protective clothing standards. Combining the benefits of flame retardant polyamide zipper elements with aramid / modal based cellulose tape allows for easy and smooth operation with protection against heat and flame. In addition to excellent flame retardant properties, the Vislon® with Lenzing FR® tape also has high performance structural strength due to the unique characteristics of the Lenzing FR® fibre.

This zipper is available in size 5 closed end, open end or two way separable function. The standard colour range is complemented with a dye to match service. A special 'flame' logo puller for sole use with Lenzing FR® tape and aramid tape zippers is also available. In addition to standard metal sliders, there is a glass fibre slider option further limiting heat transfer.

Vislon® with Lenzing FR® tape has specifically been developed for constructing EN ISO 11612 certified garments. Alternative flame retardant items are available using metal, flame retardant polyamide elements or treated coil elements in combination with aramid or treated polyester tapes.
