Dark Round The Edges - Colour Gatefold Sleeve. How I Created It. Please check out the description

Firstly - please do not concern yourselves with the state of my arm. This is a side effect of the steroid meds I am on to treat my Ulcerative Colitis.
I've been on many but, to date, the only treatment that gives me any control at all - is Prednisolone.
One of the side effects of that is that is weakens the walls of capillary blood vessels, so that the most insignificant knock can cause bruising - and, Sod's Law, just before I made this video, I brushed against a door frame - hence . . . . . . .

Obviously as there was no video back in 1972, I don't have visual record of producing the original sleeves..
Ciné would have been too expensive (especially when combined with how much I had spent recording and producing the album - and the sleeves/booklets) and, anyway, at that time I had no idea it was going to be of any interest!

All the photos shown on the original sleeve (and also the Booklet, although that's not shown in this video) were all printed by myself (the montage shots were taken by Reg Bason - but I printed them and cut them out to make the montage, which I then copied to make a negative - and the track listing shot was taken using a Rolleiflex medium format camera on a timer from which I printed a 12"x12" photo on to which I 'Letrasetted' the typesetting).

This sleeve is Clive's (drummer) - the longest serving DARK member next to myself, and the only one of us to still own an original.
I, myself, had 3 - but during financial difficulties during the mid-late '90s, I had to sell them.
With hindsight - I now wish I hadn't, as it didn't make much difference in the long run.
With only 64 DRTE original LPs and only 12 of this exact version - I guess not many have seen it like this!
