This video is about our journey from Baratang Island to Wandoor Beach.One has to do this 50 km journey as part of convoy, we were lucky enough to see the Jarawa tribe. Looking at their dress appearance was a pleasant and unique experience.

We shot this video on 15th October 2023, below are the activities we did throughout the day.

We started our day from the Jirkatang check post ( 50 km from Port Blair )

Breakfast - We had breakfast at Hotel Kaleeshwari.

Middle Strait - We travelled 50 kms from the Jirkatang to reach the Middle Strait.

Baratang - After reaching the middle strait we travelled 10 - 15 min on a ferry to reach Baratang.

Ferry price - Rs 13 per person

From Baratang we hired a speedboat to visit Limestone caves. Usually, the charge for the speedboat is Rs 900 per person, but we needed it for shooting purposes so we hired the whole boat by paying the full charge of Rs 9000.

Limestone Caves - from the jetty point we trek 1.2 km to reach the Limestone caves with our guide Rakesh Ji.

Mud Volcano - After visiting limestone caves, we headed to see Mud Volcano. We hired a taxi and travelled 10 km from Baratang.

Taxi Charge - Rs 1500

Lunch - Then We had lunch at A.R Restaurant ( 800 m from Jetty Point )

Veg Thali - Rs 150

After this, we travelled return on the ferry from the Baratang to the Middle Strait.

Wandoor Beach - Then, we headed towards Wandoor beach. The beautiful Wandoor beach is situated at Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park, around 30 km from Port Blair. It's known for its scenic beauty & it’s very popular among tourists.
