Today is April 4th, 2024, and you're looking at todays daily chart of TSLA stock. Tesla's started the day out with a nasty gap down as did most stocks today and once the stock market opened buyers stepped in and drove price higher, quickly filling the gap.

Tesla stock closed the day up 1.07% or up $1.79 and printed a bullish engulfing candlestick on the daily chart as you can see that todays candle completely eclipsed yesterdays candle.
the day before Tesla stock reported their delivery numbers and it wasn't what wall street was expecting and the stock sold off sharply and closed down nearly $9 from the previous close on heavy volume with 116 million shares changing hands about 50% higher volume versus the typical volume average
Apart from today, for the last 4 sessions each morning the stock sold off hard in the first few minutes of globex trading, check out the hourly chart and you can see the first hourly candles are all large elephant bars that are red, showng that sellers were in control.
today even though the stock finished green it did only calw back less than a couple bucks or less than 25% of yesterdays sell off. Another thing that stands out is that price was only able to reach the 50% fibonacci from yesterdays high of day
